AUSTRALIAN CONTACT DETAILS

5a  Dialling Help Regarding Australia

Note:  To dial all Australian "landline" (fixed or home/business) phone numbers from outside Australia using a landline phone, you should dial the International Direct Dial prefix (or "exit code" first.  You would need to contact your National Telecommunications Authority or organisation to find out what this exit code is in your particular country.

For Australia the number 61 must be dialed after your country's exit code, then the number of the State within Australia.  For example, the number for New South Wales is 2, Victoria is 3, Queensland is 7, and South Australia, Western Australia and the Northern Territory are all 8.

Show me how to get more ENERGY and increase my wellbeing!

Lastly, the actual landline phone number itself is dialed.  The first number listed below would be dialed as: (your country's exit code)61293779100, if dialed from outside Australia.

When dialing from within Australia from one state to another, a 0 is placed in front of the state number.  For example, to dial a Victorian number from any other Australian state, you need to dial 03 first, then the actual phone number.  To dial a NSW phone number from any other Australian state, you need to dial 02 first.

With mobile or cell phones, the situation is a little different.  If calling from a mobile/cell phone outside Australia to an Australian landline phone number, the exit code for every country is the internationally recognised "+" sign or symbol on your mobile phone keypad.  Then you key in "61" for Australia, then the number for the Australian state (without the "0"), then the actual phone number.  If calling from a mobile/cell phone outside Australia to a mobile/cell phone number inside Australia (all mobile/cell phone numbers in Australia start with 04), you must 'drop' the 0 (zero) from that number.  If calling a mobile/cell phone number from within Australia, you would include the 0.

To fax outside Australia, you need the prefix: 0015.  To dial

internationally you need the prefix: 0011.

Note that the Residential Tenancy Agreement states in Section 11, 11.1 that the Department of Housing (Landlord) agrees to "make sure the residential premises are reasonably clean and fit to live in..."  After the spraying of my unit, and for at least a whole year after while I could still smell the chemical odor, it was most certainly not fit to live in.  Unfortunately, the nature of chemical contamination makes it very difficult to:

1.  Be aware that you might have been exposed in the first instance, because we generally think more in terms of the 'flu and infections generating most illness classes we are impacted by.  Diet and nutritional deficiencies have slowly become a more recognized cause of ill health in the last 20 years, but people poisoned by chemicals still ranks as a concern relegated to the Dark Ages in terms of cognizance and vigilance.

2.  Trace the pathway of exposure, especially when one is not aware that chemicals have been applied (say, if nearby Council land was sprayed, or you live next to a golf course where spraying can be done without any health warnings being provided to landholders).  If you are aware of a specific incident of spraying, then it takes money to get an Industrial Hygienist to take appropriate samples (air, water, soil, concrete, wood, etc), and for an appropriately qualified doctor to arrange for the right kinds of blood tests.

As well, the Residential Tenancy Agreement states in Section 6, 6.2 that

"the landlord or the landlord's agent will not interfere, or cause or permit any

interference, with the reasonable peace, comfort or privacy of the tenant in

using the premises."  My peace and comfort were torn to shreds in terms of

the massive impact of the termiticide on my health, and my now constant

worry that I or my son may develop a disease in the future.

The APVMA class termiticide as an agricultural chemical.  They are very interested in people poisoned by commonly used chemicals, and need feedback from the public to help them assess the safety of chemicals.  I believe I have the answer to most of their concerns:  All synthesized chemicals should be treated with the utmost suspicion!  And most should be banned permanently!  The APVMA, like many other similar organizations, are simply MONITORING THE EXTINCTION OF ALL LIFE ON PLANET EARTH.  There is nothing responsible about this practice.  We imagine we are responsible, but are, in fact, not.  We are ALWAYS locking the barn door well after the horses have bolted...

Features:

What is MCS

Permanent damage to certain brain cells by toxic chemicals can cause MCS.

What is Emf Sensitivity

Many people with MCS also develop electromagnetic field (emf) sensitivity due to permanent

biological (cell) damage to central nervous system (cns) by toxic chemicals.

A wealth of information at this website!!

My personal comment to this issue:  I have this sensitivity.  I cannot walk next to a power station/box.  I have to pass it at a distance of at least 4 metres, otherwise I feel a tremendous wave of sickly nausea rip through my body.  As well, I cannot get near to televisions, computers, or any source of an emf.

She was a clinical assistant professor of pediatrics at the State University of New York at

Buffalo. Dr. Rapp is the founder of the Practical Allergy Foundation in Buffalo and is a past

President of the American Academy of Environmental Medicine. She is also the author

of "Is This Your Child's World?” a book to help identify substances which cause illness and

behavioral changes in children and adults, and for providing treatment ideas.

http://www.chem-tox.com

Features:

Research on health disorders resulting from petroleum-based chemicals used in consumer

products and job environments are available from the links below.  Petroleum based chemicals

are being found to cause significant attritional effects to the nervous system and immune

system after prolonged exposure. Illnesses identified in the medical research include adult

and child cancers, numerous neurological disorders, immune system weakening, autoimmune

disorders, asthma, allergies, infertility, miscarriage, and child behavior disorders including

learning disabilities, mental retardation, hyperactivity and ADD (attention deficit disorders).

My personal comment to this issue:  I recall reading years ago that even petroleum jelly was considered to be carcinogenic because it was a petroleum product.  I won't even have that stuff in my house.  If I see people poisoned by petrol vapors, and people poisoned by the xylenes used in paints and adhesives, then I'm surely going to put 2 + 2 together and, using the Precautionary Principle, avoid as many products as I am aware that contain petroleum-based substances.  A wide birth given to this group, however, also means a wide birth offered to most of society!
