Thursday March 12th, 2009  See photos farther down showing spraying operations that I witnessed occurring in amongst people,

shops and retail items.  I saw spray being applied, and people (including children) were exposed to this spray, and not just in

terms of spray vapours, but also because of the gusty conditions.

The Council worker (behind the bushes spraying herbicide) was bare-legged, did not wear gloves or a mask, and members of the

public were clearly exposed to spray drift and vapours being carried on the breeze in and around the Mall that day.  Here, he stopped

to spray, as well as further down Kable Street.
